    Location

We asked for a non-smoking room and they gave us a smoking one, terrible, we asked for a change and we did not get attention. The smell was the worst, we could not sleep and we woke up sick. The front desk was terrible too

    Fabulous

    fountains

A/C never worked properly, no refrigerator or kettle in room, price of eating there was atrocious. Also the fact that we had a non-smoking room but had to walk through the cassino full of smoke! When are they going to enter the 21st century?

As a "Hotel" and i have styed in some of the best it was excellent, in quality and comfort.

Not being much for Gambling, glitz, schmaltz and the whole raz a ma taz thing, the ground flor/casino i could leave but as a hotel see above.

    Fabulous

It did feel like a room above a casino and you share the ground floor with everyone else. So you make your way from reception for over 100 metres through the casino with your luggage (no bell boys in sight). As you go and push pass the tourists, you can drink, carry beer bottles, smoke, bump into people but you can’t film or take photos. This is a casino after all. Join the rest of the crowd, what do you think it is, a hotel? Vegas has redefined the hotel concept and the Belagio is no exception. We had a fantastic room, the cheapest available but far from cheap. It was tempting to go for the option overlooking the fountains and strip to the front but I’m glad we didn’t. We took a chance on a free upgrade which didn’t happen. You only ever read about the people who get upgraded so it makes the odds look better than they are. Well here’s the reality. No free upgrade, we got what it said on the tin. The room was expensive enough (Saturday night nearly twice the rate of Sunday or Monday). You can see the fountains from outside or perhaps book one of the hotels across the road even cheaper. That way you get to look back at the fountain show at the Bellagio and/or the volcano at the Mirage. With the Bellagio you are really only paying for a room. So better value could be a suite/superior room in a cheaper hotel looking back at the Bellagio. Breakfast at the buffet is tremendous. We paid $18 all you can eat. Great value and it has everything. But watch out for the queues. At 8.00am it was fine. At 10.00am we waited 10 minutes. But the first morning at 11.30 the queue was over 100 people long. It must have stayed like that all day because it was still out of the door 10.00pm at night. So instead of standing maybe half an hour for breakfast we made the mistake of going to the café. There we waited 10 minutes and paid $175 for 4 breakfasts (including $52.50 for 4 orange juices plus 3 top ups at $7.50 per glass). They come from miles around for the buffet.

Room above a casino. The casino come first the hotel second.

    Location

I will never stay there again. I would much rather stay at the new Mandarin Oriental around the corner.

    Good

Location and confort. Spetacular View of landscape from my window.

They charge us 25 uss per day as services fees. However it not exists. The hotel is always pretty full and is difficult eat something at buffet or Cafe Bellagio. For that reason the hotel is disorganized. Guests does not any privilegies and price is high for this happens.

    Good

Bedrooms very nice & quiet. Pool area beautiful.

Bellagio has many restaurants but all very expensive - easy to spend $250+ for a meal for 2. As a result the more reasonably priced "Buffet" always had an entrance queue of over 1/2 an hour, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. As a result didn't eat in the Bellagio at all. Know this is a luxury hotel - but so are all the neighbouring hotels - yet they seem to cater across a wider range of price/choice. $61 dollars added to my credit card after i checked out. Still trying to get to the bottom of this.

    Good

Excellent location and great room view

Poor food, poor service, ridiculously crowded. Not a 5 star standard hotel. A flash casino trying to be a hotel.

    Fabulous

The level of comfort and luxury was high.

Check-in took 50 minutes! The hotel lobby was like a very busy train station. No-one apologised for the delays.

Everything about the Bellagio far exceeded our expectations. Attention to detail was excellent and it is very well located on the strip. The fountain is absolutely amazing and difficult to drag yourself away from. Staff were friendly and helpful and our rooms were luxurious and well appointed. Best bed I have ever slept in. Highly recommended.

Walking through the casino, we found the cigarette smoke a little overwhelming.
